As one of the UK’s leading and most acclaimed illuminated trails, Christmas at Kew is an unmissable opportunity to herald the start of Christmas or welcome in the New Year.

How to book:

3. Choose to upgrade your visit with an optional Christmas dinner in the Botanical restaurant, fairground tokens or car parking at the relevant gate

If you are a Kew member, to access your discount on adult tickets, you will need to enter your unique membership number in the appropriate box after selecting an entry date and time.

Ticket details
All tickets are subject to a single transaction charge of £2.50.
All guests, including children under 4yrs, must have their own valid ticket in order to gain entry into the event. You must bring either a printed copy or display the ticket on your phone.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Kew members may purchase up to 14 tickets at the discounted rate.
Disabled ticket holders are entitled to one free ticket for an essential companion.
Tickets are available to purchase online until 2pm on the day of the event.
Filming and photography may be taken for promotional purposes at the event.
Please note last entry to Christmas at Kew is 8:20pm. On December 24th, last entry at Brentford Gate and Elizabeth Gate is 6.20pm, with last entry at Victoria Gate at 7pm (these are new timings for 2024). Cancellations, exchanges and refunds
We are not able to offer refunds, duplicates or exchanges on unwanted tickets or tickets bought in error.
Christmas at Kew is an outside event, and cancellations will not be offered in the event of poor weather.
If extreme, unsafe weather conditions force us to cancel the event, you will be offered an alternative date. We will communicate any cancellations by 2pm on the day of the event. You will be notified by email with your options.

Refunds are dealt with on a case-by-case basis. If you are due a refund, you must return the ticket to us within 28 days of the event date.

Accessibility - Quiet Access sessions 
These sessions are suitable for visitors with hidden disabilities, such as autism, to make for a more comfortable visit whilst still benefiting from the sensory elements of Christmas at Kew. We ask that other visitors respect the quiet sessions and do not book during these limited time slots.

Trail Route
Please note this is a one-way outdoor trail of approximately 3km in distance. Due to the nature of the trail and Kew Gardens, there are very limited under-cover areas, so please dress appropriately.

Visiting Kew Gardens
This ticket does not include entry to Kew Gardens during the daytime. If you have a Christmas at Kew ticket, you can add on a reduced-entry price ticket to visit Kew Gardens.

Please note: If you are including a visit to Kew Gardens in the daytime, you will need to exit the gardens at 3pm (last entry 2pm) and then re-enter the trail at your designated entry gate and time.
